The Rode VideoMic Pro+ is a true shotgun microphone designed for use with camcorders, DSLR cameras and portable audio recorders as a source of primary and reference audio. It provides professional broadcast quality audio all in an easily removable shock mount.
Rycote Lyre
With the Rycote Lyre suspension system, the VideoMic Pro+ provides dynamic sound isolation to cancel out unwanted rumble noise and vibrations. The Rycote Lyre suspension will never wear out, sag, or snap and was built for reliability and durability. A super-cardioid polar pattern focuses on the subject in front of the camera to ensure that surrounding audio is minimized.
Automatic Power Function
The power control settings are located conveniently towards the back of the camera so you can always remember to turn on your audio when you record. The controls are simple and easy to use and will have you recording high quality audio for up to 70 hours. The automatic power function (with plug-in power availability) is perfect for the run-and-gun shooter, automatically turning the microphone off when unplugged from the camera. The VideoMic Pro+ can be powered by the all-new and included Rode LB-1 Lithium-Ion Rechargeable Battery, 2 x AA Batteries or continuously via Micro USB.
Digital Switching
Digital switching gives you the ultimate capture of the audio signal at the source, reducing post-production and editing times. 2-Stage High Pass Filter reduces low frequencies such as rumble from traffic or air conditioning while 3-Stage Gain Control, with +20dB function, is designed to improve audio quality on DSLR or mirrorless cameras. The High Frequency Boost will boost high frequencies enhancing detail and clarity in the recording and the Safety Channel helps ensure the signal does not clip when unexpected spikes occur

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
