The Ibanez AAM340CE 6-String Right-Handed Acoustic Electric Guitar in Rustic Black High Gloss is designed from the ground up to deliver a richer and brighter, tone with an unprecedentedly wide dynamic range. It offers a fully reimagined acoustic experience. The reinvented design achieves a superb, powerful sound, and thanks to the extensive consideration given to ergonomics and it is extremely comfortable to play. It promises an exciting new experience for all players.
Thermo Aged African Mahogany Neck
The Low Oval neck grip facilitates easy chord strumming and the Rounded Fretboard Edges deliver superior playability. Thermo Aging, a special drying process, makes the neck light and hard and provides excellent stability and enhanced resonance.
Rosewood Fretboard and Mahogany Top
Rosewood fretboard provides a well-balanced solid tone with a focused mid range. Solid African Mahogany top offers a full-bodied and warm mid-range and a bright tone. The African Mahogany back and sides offer full-bodied warm mid range.
Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle Pickup and Custom Electronics
The Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle pickup accurately translates that full sound to whatever amplification system you plug it into. The guitar also features on-board treble and bass controls for contouring the tone, making it suitable for a variety of applications for modern players.
Rosewood Scalloped Bridge
The lightweight, scalloped bridge improves vibration efficiency for better resonance and provides more flexibility in adjusting the action than does a typical bridge.
Ibanez Advantage Bridge Pins
These pins really are an advantage over old-fashioned pins. Advantage pins are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents the pin from being pushed in too far. Best of all, with Advantage the pin and string stay put.
A.I.R. Port
Through intensive research and development, the A.I.R.port has been designed with a unique internal structure that reflects sound waves and guides them to exit from a precisely positioned sound hole. As a result, players can monitor what they are playing more clearly, which enhances the overall playing experience.
Advanced Auditorium Body
With the concept of Advanced Acoustics - 'Reimagining Acoustic Experience' in mind, the new body shape of the Advanced Auditorium is designed. After many rounds of prototyping, the Advanced Auditorium body has a slightly wider waist, which has been moved slightly towards the neck.
X-M Bracing for AAM Series
After more than two years of trial and error, research, and prototyping, Ibanez developed its proprietary X-M bracing specifically for Advanced Auditorium guitar bodies to produce the ultimate sound for the stage and studio. The carefully designed scalloped X-M bracing, tone braces, and finger braces efficiently transmit string vibration from the bridge to the body. This bracing provides a wide dynamic range and excellent response. The mids are slightly scooped for better tonal balance, and the treble has the clarity of steel strings while retaining the warmth of nylon strings.
Functional Tapered Headstock
The newly designed headstock shape is the result of thorough research and investigation. Its tapered shape provides lighter weight, as well as a straight string alignment which enhances tuning stability and reduces any neck twisting effect. Its deep straight cutaway (from 18th fret) and shaved side enable amazing high fret access.

How do I return an item?

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

Will I receive a full refund when I return an item?

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

How many days do I have to make a return?

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days. 

My item was damaged in transit. How do I place a return?

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery. If there is carrier damage, please contact support@focuscamera.com with your order number and a description of the damage. 

There’s an issue with my order, what should I do?

Can I exchange an item?

We do not currently offer exchanges. Please return the item you purchased within 30 days and order what you’d like instead.

If I ordered a kit, do I have to return all the items?

If you ordered a kit, you must return all components and accessories to receive a full refund.

I ordered a product that included a free item. I’d like to return it, do I need to return the free item as well?

If you ordered a product that included a free item, you must include the free item with your return. If not, your return will not be accepted and you will not receive a full refund.

Do you offer repairs?

We currently only offer camera repairs at our Brooklyn store. The item must be dropped off and collected in person as we do not accept shipped items for repair. For more information, please call our Brooklyn store on 1.718.431.7900.
