One of the most popular Jackson pickups from the early days of the Jackson Custom Shop was brought back with to life in this new series. With ceramic magnets and tightly wound wire, the sonic capabilities of this pickup is as good today as it was almost 40 years ago. The low end is tight and responsive and the pick attack cuts through mix like a hot knife through butter!

Jackson pioneered the use of the innovative 12-16 inches compound radius design, in which the fingerboard gradually flattens toward the heel from its more rounded profile at the nut. This makes for comfortable and natural-feeling chording and riffing near the nut, with optimal shred articulation and bending nearer the heel.
