With the release of the EVH SA-126 Standard 6-String Right-Handed Electric Guitar in Satin Vintage White in 2025, EVH will once more defy the 'norm.' The SA-126 embodies innovation in its purest form. It is a cross between a solid body and semi-hollow guitar: imagine a solid body guitar with a bolt-on neck and chambered and center block construction, then equipped with features that are typically seen in high performance guitar brands, such jumbo frets, a narrow neck, and higher output pickups. Designed with versatility in mind, Wolfgang Van Halen's instrument strikes the ideal balance between thunderous rhythm tones and blazingly fast lead runs.

Body, Neck, and Fingerboard

The brand-new SA-126 Standard has a chambered nyatoh body with a nyatoh Centerblock for tone and stability. masked off natural body binding and capped with a maple top for a timeless and tidy appearance. It features a graphite-reinforced baked maple neck with a 22 fret, 12- to 16-inch compound rosewood fingerboard with jumbo frets and reimagined block inlays. This has a scale length of 24 and three quarters, making it feel familiar and comfy, like a modern classic. Lastly, for quick and simple modifications, there is a spoke wheel truss rod adjustment at the butt end of the neck.

Pickups, Bridge, and Tailpiece

The EVH SA-126 bridge and neck pickups, developed by the EVH team with Tim Shaw, Fender's resident pickup designer, are capable of handling nearly anything you put in front of them. The most discriminating gainiac will be pleased by anything from the sophisticated sound of flowing glassy cleans to a potent wash of Overdrive to ‘Burn.’ Bridge, bridge and neck, and neck pickups can be switched with the three-way toggle at the top horn. Each pickup can be controlled with two volumes and two tones. Keystone tuning pegs, huge strap buttons, and an EVH T.O.M. bridge and stop bar tailpiece are further highlights.
