With over 10 times the sample data available in previous SV models, the SV-2 provides ample memory for all-new piano and keyboard sounds. The keyboard consists of 72 captivating sounds with 64 memory locations to store edited Favorites for instant access during performance. Users can now create their own split and layered programs and save them to one of the favorite locations. Plus, the SV-2 now comes with 128-voice polyphony.

The SV-2 delivers exact and accurate rendition of many keyboard classics. With the help of best-maintained instruments and the latest multi-mixing methods, the sound captured is precise. Each element of the piano is preserved in the RX Layer. All of the timbral and volume changes generated from a ppp ( pianississimo) touch to an fff (fortississimo) strike are faithfully preserved along with the full dynamic range of each instrument.

By pressing in the on the knob, the programmed value is quickly restored. Additionally, you can recall any of 64 Favorite presets, each containing your own customized sounds and settings, with the help of eight illuminated buttons in the center of the panel.

This 88-Key Piano comes with the finest Korg RH3 graded-hammer action keybed. The weighting of the keys is graduated across the keyboard; heavier in the lower registers and lighter in the upper registers; just like on a grand piano. This RH3 keybed delivers every expressive element accurately. The SV-2 offers eight tuning schemes including equal, grand piano stretch, electric piano stretch, electric grand, upright stretch, detuned and two user-definable types.
