The Korg Wavestate MK2 comes in a new design along with 96 stereo voices making it look and sound different. It comes with an upgrade in sounds and software but it works with Wavestate, Wavestate SE, and Wavestate native software along with third-party libraries. This compact Korg Wavestate MK2 is easy to transport and fits in any setup of the stage or studio.

Randomizing the Entire Sound

Get the randomization of the entire sound by using the front panel button that can be identified by a dice icon. You randomize the whole sound or a part of it like a filter or the effects.

Superb Effects

Get production-ready sounds with three dedicated effects along with master reverb and parametric EQ. It features processors such as Wave Shaper, Talking Modulator, Reverse Delay, Multiband Mod Delay, and Overb (from the OASYS. Plus you can avail compressors, EQs, choruses, flangers, and stereo delays.

Multiple Filters

You can get vintage sounds through MS-20 Lowpass or Highpass filters, or the strong, sweet Polysix Lowpass. You can polish the sound by using a combination of filters such as 2-pole and 4-pole Lowpass, Highpass, Bandpass, and Band Reject filters. You also have the option for Korg’s unique multi-filter for creating blends through numerous modes concurrently.

Huge Samples

The sample library of Wavestate is very large when compared to the original Wavestation. This library contains multiple brand-new samples from Plugin Guru and a select few from NAUTILUS, KRONOS, and KROME libraries. Plus this library contains all the Wavestation’s samples along with the library of Wavestation Wave Sequences. Also, get the unspoiled clarity of up to 96 stereo voices.

4GB of User Samples

You create your unique voice with the option to get up to 4GB of your multi-samples in your Wavestate using the Sample Builder application for Mac and Windows. You also have the option of third-party libraries.

Four Programs

You can play many rich and complex sounds with 4 programs with each sound with its own effects and arpeggiator. The single voices of four layers can be mixed using Vector Envelope and Joystick, it can also moderate any other parameters.

Set Lists and Smooth Sound Transitions

It is easy to organize your performances through setlists for delivering instant access during the gig or rehearsal. You can play voice played previously using the Smooth Sound Transitions features naturally.

Music Software

The Wavestate offers a bundle of music software that is Izotope including Ozone Elements that will let you create songs and help you gain expertise by using AI, Skoove. This will help you become efficient in keyboarding skills.

Stereo Outputs

You can connect the Korg Wavestate MK2 Wave Sequencing Synthesizer with any monitoring or recording system through stereo outputs. It also features a headphone stereo output for private playing. To ensure the connection with MIDI-equipped instruments and audio gear it features Din-style MIDI jacks.

Editor/Librarian

Wavestate features a second front panel called the Editor/Librarian for displaying real-time values, and wave sequences to give real-time feedback. The Editor/Librarian enables you to copy and paste sounds, envelopes, LFOs, filter settings, and many more.

The research and development Korg made the Wavestation with OASYS and KRONOS. This Wavestation features an aesthetic that is unique, stunning, and flexible sound through advanced technologies.
