Featuring 6 voices including Dry, minus 2, minus 1, plus 5th, plus 1, and plus 2, you can mix each with individual sliders and create enveloping stereo effects with dedicated pan knobs and selectable Left, Right, and Direct outputs. The effects section has been expanded to offer envelope control and adjustable Q for the new multi-mode Filter, enhanced Detune section with Spread, and individual Dry effect selection, plus the famous Attack slider for subtle or dramatic swell effects. All voices, effects, and additional features are now controllable via expression and MIDI for even more creative control. Unlock new expression effects including Freeze, Glissando, Volume, Filter, X-Fade, and Warp with advanced programming and performance controls. The Input Gain slider is an old friend from the original POG that can add girth and dirt to your tone mix. The Electro-Harmonix POG3 is packed with features, including 100 presets and three separate 1/4-inch outputs (Left, Right, Direct Out), allowing for versatile sound management. It offers individual pan controls to separate voices between the LEFT and RIGHT output jacks, along with enhanced classic POG and POG2 Attack, Filter, and Detune controls. The unit also includes Input Gain, Master Volume, and Focus controls for the plus 1 OCT and plus 2 OCT settings. A Multimode Filter with Q and Envelope sweep adds further sound shaping options. All controls can be saved to presets and managed via expression or MIDI, and the device is equipped with illuminated slide pots and buttons for easy operation. A high-visibility OLED graphical display, customizable ‘home’ views, and an easy-to-navigate menu system enhance user experience. The new NavCoder knob allows for both rotary and directional menu navigation, while the Expression and CV input offers multiple expression modes. Additionally, the POG3 features a USB-C port for connecting to Windows or Mac computers, enabling a seamless interface with the EHXport app.
NavCoder Knob
The NavCoder Knob allows you to navigate menus, parameters, and presets as well as adjust settings. The NavCoder provides the following movements: Rotate clockwise and counter-clockwise to scroll through values, presets, and lists. Center press (push straight down) for preset load and unload and choosing menu options. Center press and hold for preset save. A directional pad (D-pad) in four directions: up, down, left, and right, allows for easy navigation around menus and screens.
