The SE Electronics DM2 TNT Active In-Line Mic Preamp lets you choose between a switchable, clean, and consistent gain of 15dB plus or explosive 30dB plus gain with an ultra-high impedance input. It features eight load settings ranging from 50 ohms to stunningly high 10 mega ohms to precisely match any mic. The preamp has a sophisticated class-A design and specially selected high-grade FETs for a signal boost without coloration. It offers vastly lower output impedance and nearly half the noise of anything else on the market to raise any mic level with clarity. All-metal housing and premium finish ensure the DM2 can handle demanding on-tour, recording, and broadcast studio lifestyles. The gold-plated XLR connector allows for a loss-free, reliable signal connection. System requirements include a passive microphone (ribbon or dynamic) as input and a preamp, mixer, or audio interface providing 48V phantom power as output.
