generation in the amPlug series, this plug-and-play headphone amplifier caters
to the needs of both guitarists and bassists. Boasting a diverse array of amp
flavors, each channel delivers iconic and readily recognizable tones. The
amPlug3 stands out as the perfect practice companion, seamlessly blending
simplicity with rich tones. The
amPlug3 Boutique model captures the iconic sound of a renowned boutique amp.
CH1 delivers a coveted, smooth clean tone, while CH2 supplies a vibrant, silky
overdrive sound.
Main Components
Immerse yourself in enhanced practice sessions with the amPlug3 series,
delivering exceptional amp tones complemented by powerful built-in stereo
effects and rhythms. The analog circuitry faithfully replicates the compression
and overtones characteristic of various tube amps. The expanded effects
section, including stereo effects, ensures a more expansive sound experience
through headphones and during recording. The integrated rhythm machine features
nine essential patterns on every amPlug3 unit. Connect your smartphone or
external audio device to the AUX jack to play along with favorite tracks, and
utilize an optional TRRS cable for direct recording onto a smartphone or laptop
via the AUX jack. The amPlug3's amplifier-like appearance adds an elegant touch,
contributing to an even better musical experience.
Effects and Rhythms
Special controls are present to adjust modulation parameters, which include depth,
speed, delay, reverb depth, time, and compression. The Vox amPlug3 Boutique model
is equipped with Chorus, Delay, and Reverb effects. It features a dedicated
Volume control for rhythm, allowing precise adjustments. The tempo is
adjustable within the range of 40 to 240 BPM. The Boutique model offers a
variety of patterns, such as Rock1, Blues, Pop1, Pop2, Pop3,
Jazz, Funk1, Metal1, and Metronome patterns.
Connection Jacks and Power Source
The Vox amPlug3 comes with a 3.5mm phone jack and a CTIA-compliant 3.5mm TRRS
mini AUX phone jack. Two AAA
batteries provide power to this headphone amplifier.
