The Yamaha RSS20 Revstar is a 6-string electric guitar suitable for right-hand usage. It features a chambered body and carbon-reinforced neck, dual humbucking pickups, 5-way switching, and a passive Focus Switch, providing exceptional versatility.
Hanko Stamp
Used in place of a signature in Japan, the Hanko stamp on every Revstar guitar is Yamaha's seal of approval.
Chambered Body With Acoustic Design
Revstar Standard guitars feature chambered bodies designed to sculpt tone and reduce weight, with carbon reinforcement in the neck to improve vibration transfer.
5-Way Switching
Standard models offer 5-way switching. In positions 2 and 4, our circuit slightly delays the opposite pickup for a new take on classic 'in between' sounds.
Focus Switch
The push/pull Tone control activates a passive boost with an effect similar to overwound pickups—darker highs, increased mids and lows, and an aggressive character.
Choice Of Pickups
RSS20 features humbuckers, and RSS02T offers P90-style single-coils. All pickups are custom designed by Yamaha and use Alnico V magnets for powerful tone.
Guitar Sound Samples
RSS20 also features the new Focus Switch. This is a passive boost activated by a push/pull switch on the Tone control that offers darker highs and increased lows and mids.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
