The AlphaTheta SLAB brings the essential tools of Serato Studio into a dedicated hardware controller built for hands-on music production. Created for beatmakers, producers, musicians, and DJs, it provides direct access to sampling, sequencing, sound shaping, and performance controls without constantly switching between a mouse and keyboard. Connect SLAB to unlock the full version of Serato Studio and start building tracks with an intuitive, tactile workflow.
Expressive Pads for Beatmaking and Performance
SLAB features 16 multi-color performance pads with velocity sensitivity and adjustable aftertouch, allowing producers to finger drum, trigger samples, play instruments, and program sequences with expressive control. Dedicated pad modes include Step Sequencer and Pad FX, making it easy to create rhythms and manipulate sounds in real time. Its 130 mm touch strip adds responsive control over filter, pitch, effects levels, and swing.
Hands-On Sampling and Sound Design
A multi-function dial simplifies browsing, sample scrubbing, and precise navigation through audio. Focus Control lets you adjust supported plugin parameters directly from the controller without manual MIDI mapping. Four touch-sensitive encoders provide immediate access to EQ, effects, and parameter settings, while the OLED display shows current assignments and values for faster adjustments.
Shape Individual Stems
SLAB's Stems Level feature lets producers independently control vocals, melody, drums, and bass within compatible Serato software. Adjust individual stem levels using the four encoders to reshape samples, build arrangements, and explore new combinations without first separating each part into an individual track.
Built for Studio and DJ Workflows
Native integration with Serato Studio, Serato Sample, and Serato DJ Pro supports music creation and performance across compatible software. A general MIDI mode also enables custom mapping in other MIDI-compatible DAWs. With compact dimensions, USB-C connectivity, and a portable design, SLAB fits naturally into home studios and mobile production setups. Serato Sample requires a separate license, and Serato DJ Pro must be unlocked independently.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
