Audio-Technica AT-LP120XUSB Direct-Drive Analog and USB Turntable (Black)

The Audio-Technica AT-LP120XUSB Turntable features a new DC servo direct-drive motor, along with adjustable dynamic anti-skate control and selectable phono preamplifier. The fully manual turntable plays 33-1/3, 45, and 78 RPM records and is equipped with a USB output that allows direct connection to your computer. Just download the free Mac- and PC-compatible Audacity recording software (or software of your choice) and start converting your records to digital audio files. But in addition to the USB output, the turntable also comes with a detachable dual RCA output cable and is equipped with a built-in selectable phono preamp so you can connect directly to your home stereo, whether it has a dedicated phono input or not.

Construction

The turntable features an S-shaped tonearm with adjustable tracking force and an AT-HS6 universal 1/2-inch mount headshell with an AT-VM95E Dual Magnet phono cartridge. Audio-Technica has been a leader in phono cartridge design for more than 50 years, and that expertise shows in the versatile, high-performance AT-VM95E cartridge, which comes with a 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical stylus, but is also compatible with any VM95 Series replacement stylus, offering a wide choice of options for every budget and application.

Knox Gear Vinyl Record Care System

The Knox Gear Vinyl Record Care System is the perfect package to keep your vinyl collection in pristine condition. Inexpensive and effective, this kit contains all the tools you need to care for your records. It comes with three brushes, all in an easy-carry microfiber pouch.

Kit Includes:

  • 1 x Velvet Pad Record Brush
  • 1 x Stylus Brush
  • 1 x Small Brush
  • 1 x Carry Pouch

The Brushes

The main attraction is the record brush, which features a wooden carry handle and a velvet pad underside. The soft-touch of the velvet is designed to safely and lightly clean your delicate vinyl. Simply place your record on a flat surface or even on the turntable (you can either turn it on or rotate it manually), and gently touch the pad to the vinyl.

The small toothbrush-shaped brush can be used to clean the big brush. Once dust, dirt and debris begin to collect on the velvet pad, you will want to use this brush to clean it off.

The stylus brush features soft, carbon fiber bristles and is just what it sounds like. It cleans your turntable's stylus, cantilever, and hard to access areas.

Light Cleaning Instructions:

  1. Turn record player on and let record rotate.
  2. Place velvet brush on record and let record make 2-3 rotations to remove any loose dust and particles.
  3. Apply brush to spinning record and again allow 2-3 rotations. Pull the brush towards you off the record.

Deep Cleaning Instructions:
