The Audix OM3 is a multipurpose dynamic microphone built for clear vocal and instrument capture across live stages, home studios, recording sessions, and broadcast setups. Its controlled sound profile works with PA systems of different sizes while helping performers maintain natural tone and clear articulation. The handheld design is balanced and comfortable for extended performances.
Controlled Pickup for Busy Stages
A tight hypercardioid polar pattern helps focus the microphone on the intended source while reducing sound arriving from the sides. More than 25 dB of off-axis rejection helps separate vocals from nearby instruments and monitors. This focused response supports stronger feedback control in crowded stage environments and helps engineers create a cleaner mix.
Clear Response for Vocals and Instruments
The VLM Type B capsule provides a 50 Hz to 18 kHz frequency response with accurate transient detail. A tailored lower mid bass response helps reduce boominess and handling noise, while the articulate midrange keeps vocals present in the mix. The OM3 can also handle sound pressure levels of at least 144 dB without distortion, making it suitable for brass, drums, percussion, guitar, dobro, flute, and saxophone.
Roadworthy Materials and Simple Connectivity
The precision die-cast zinc alloy body has a durable black finish, dent-resistant steel mesh grille, and gold-plated 3-pin XLR male connector. The dynamic capsule requires no external power and connects to a standard microphone-level input. A microphone clip and carrying pouch are supplied for stand mounting and protected storage between sessions.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
