Audix Novacore NCHEC Single-Channel Handheld Wireless System with Extended Cardioid Capsule

The Audix Novacore NCHEC gives vocalists, presenters, worship leaders, and production teams a complete single-channel digital wireless microphone system. It combines the NCR1 receiver, NCHH handheld transmitter, and NCEC extended cardioid capsule, providing the core components needed for live vocal and spoken word applications. The system operates on the Novacore UHF platform with AES 256 encrypted transmission for secure digital audio.

Clear Vocal Pickup with Responsive Performance

The NCEC extended cardioid capsule provides balanced vocal coverage with natural transient response. Its pickup pattern supports performers and presenters who move while speaking or singing. Less than 3 ms system latency helps voices feel immediate through a live sound system, while the 494 to 542 MHz tuning range provides 48 MHz of frequency selection for system coordination.

Fast Setup and Flexible Power

One-touch IR synchronization pairs the handheld transmitter with the receiver without a complicated setup process. The transmitter operates for more than 9 hours using 2 AA alkaline batteries or an optional NCLB rechargeable lithium-ion battery. A built-in USB-C port supports direct charging when the rechargeable battery is installed. The compact half rack receiver can operate as a standalone unit with its included universal power supply or integrate into standard rack infrastructure with optional mounting hardware.

Expandable Novacore System

The standard S-thread capsule mount lets users exchange the included NCEC capsule for the compatible NCTH tight hypercardioid capsule without tools. Additional Novacore transmitters, receivers, and channels can be added as production requirements grow. This makes the NCHEC a practical starting point for portable sound systems, performance venues, houses of worship, presentation spaces, and live event production.
