Tame the wildest peaks and even out dynamics between single
notes and chords with the DigiTech DOD Compressor 280 Optical Effects Pedal in
Orange. The 280 is an optical compressor that can go from light sustain to
utterly smashed with the turn of a knob. Unlike faster non-optical circuits,
the 280 retains your high frequencies until you get into the more extreme
settings. The 280 is ideal for chicken-pickin’, added sustain for leads or
snappy-slappy funk rhythm. The 280 has enough output to be used as a lead boost
with added compressor sustain. And like the updated DOD pedal, it has a modern
power jack, LED, light but strong aluminum chassis, and true bypass switching.
Its design is based on the legendary DOD Compressor 280 circuit design with
updated components.
Compression Control
Compression control is used to adjust the amount of compression being applied
to your signal. Turn this clockwise to increase the compression.
Level Control
Level control is used to adjust the output level of your signal. Turn this
clockwise to increase the output level.
Output Connector
Connect the output connector to the input of your amplifier or your other
effects.
Input Connector
Connect your instrument or the output of another effect pedal to the input
connector.
LED Power Indicator and Footswitch
The LED indicator lights up when the pedal is on, and the footswitch is pressed
to turn the effect on or off.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
