Impressive overdrive or distortion reacts and sounds like a real tube amplifier. The EHX Tortion JFET Overdrives covers vast tonal real estate and redefines versatility. Like a database of great tone, the Electro-Harmonix Ehx Tortion JFET Overdrive Guitar Effects Pedal is full complement of features and controls make dialing in inspired guitar sound intuitive. The JFET circuit is designed to sound and feel like the front end of a tube amplifier with a 3-band EQ and 4-way Pre-Gain to suit any style. It also has treble, middle and bass for complete sound control. The footswitchable Boost section adds a second set of Gain and Volume controls for a real twin channel preamp assault. Whatever the era, from vintage to modern, your search for the ultimate tone has ended. Use it as a preamp balanced XLR output with cabinet emulation. This pedal comes with power adapter as well.
Volume Knob
Controls the output level when in normal mode. Disabled when in boost mode.
Treble Knob
Controls the level of the treble frequency range.
MID Knob
Controls the level of the middle frequency range.
Bass Knob
Controls the level of the bass frequency range.
Pre-Gain Switch
Controls the level and tone of the initial input signal.
Gain Knob
This knob controls the amount of input gain when the pedal is in normal mode. This knob is disabled when in boost mode.
Boost Volume Knob
Controls the output level when in boost mode. This knob is completely independent from the normal vol knob, and is disabled when in normal mode.
Boost Gain Knob
Controls the amount of input gain when the pedal is in boost mode. This knob is completely independent from the normal gain knob, and is disabled when in normal mode.
DI Output Jack
This is a low impedance output to plug directly into a mixing console or recording equipment.
Output Jack
This 1/4-inch jack is the audio output from the EHX TORTION.
Boost Footswitch and LED
This footswitch toggles Boost mode on and off. When in Boost mode, the blue LED will be lit.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
