The ENGL Savage 30 brings a focused 30-watt all-tube platform into a compact guitar amplifier head. Its Clean and Lead channels cover open clean sounds, driven rhythm tones, and saturated high-gain playing without requiring a large chassis. Separate Gain controls for each channel help set the response for different playing styles, while the shared Bass, Middle, and Treble controls shape the core voice.
Flexible Tone Shaping
Gain Lo and Hi settings expand the available drive range, while Contour and Depth Boost provide additional ways to shape attack, body, and low-frequency response. Lead Volume, Presence, and Master controls make it easier to balance channel level, upper frequency response, and overall output. The tube circuit uses 4 ECC83 preamp tubes and 2 EL34 power tubes.
Controlled High Gain Performance
An onboard noise gate helps manage unwanted noise when gain levels rise, with its threshold level adjusted from the rear panel. A tube-buffered serial effects loop provides a dedicated path for external effects and processors. For remote control, the S.A.C. Port supports the ENGL Z9, while the dual footswitch jack supports the ENGL Z4.
Power and Output Options
The rear power switch offers Full, Mid, Low Power, and Speaker Off modes for different playing environments. Speaker connections support 1 x 8 to 16 ohm output or 2 x 16 ohm outputs, and a line output adds another routing option. The Savage 30 measures 42 cm wide, 23 cm high, and 20 cm deep, weighs 11 kg, and is made in Germany.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
