The EVH SA-126 Special is Wolfgang Van Halen’s modern take on the electric guitar, designed to push the boundaries of tone and playability. Its hybrid body combines a chambered mahogany body with a basswood center block, delivering a rich, resonant sound with solid sustain. Topped with quilt maple and 5-ply binding, it balances classic aesthetics with modern performance.
Equipped with a graphite-reinforced bolt-on mahogany neck and a 12-inch–16-inch compound radius ebony fingerboard, the SA-126 feels comfortable for fast lead runs and precise rhythm work. The guitar’s innovative features, including jumbo frets, triple block inlays, and a heel-mounted spoke wheel truss rod adjustment, make setup and playability seamless.
EVH-designed SA-126 pickups, created with Tim Shaw, offer versatile tones ranging from sparkling cleans to heavy overdrive. With a harmonica bridge, stopbar tailpiece, three-way pickup selector, dual volume and tone controls, and premium hardware, this guitar is ready for studio and stage. It comes complete with a luxurious ivory-wrapped hardshell case with blue crushed velvet interior.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
