The EVH 5150 Iconic Series 15 watt 6L6 Head Guitar Amplifier gives gigging and recording guitarists a compact way to build a two channel tube rig. One 6L6 power tube works with two ECC83S preamp tubes, while separate channel gain and volume controls make it easy to set clean, overdrive, lead, and burn sounds at practical levels. At 18 pounds and 19.7 inch wide, the head fits into studio, rehearsal, and live setups without the footprint of a larger amplifier head.
Two Channels with Extra Voicing Options
Channel 1 provides Gain with an Overdrive switch, while Channel 2 provides Gain with a Burn switch. Both channels share Low, Mid, and High EQ, with separate Channel 1 and Channel 2 volume controls. Global Reverb, Resonance, Presence, and Master Boost controls give you quick access to ambience, low frequency response, high frequency character, and overall level shaping from one front panel.
Flexible Connections for Guitar Rigs
A 1/4 inch instrument input handles your guitar connection, while the 1/4 inch effects loop provides send and return paths for external effects. Two parallel 1/4 inch speaker jacks and selectable 4 ohm, 8 ohm, or 16 ohm total impedance support a range of speaker cabinet configurations. A 1/8 inch stereo auxiliary input adds a convenient path for external audio sources.
The MDF cabinet uses black chicken head pointer knobs, a red LED jewel, and a molded plastic strap handle with black powder coated caps. A 2 button footswitch, IEC power cable, and owner's manual are included, so the amplifier head is ready to integrate into a compatible guitar speaker setup.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
