The Limited-Edition Wolfgang 2015 puts and homage to Eddie Van Halen's historic and authentic style in your hands. This is model is an homage to the touring guitar Edward Van Halen used on the 2015 “Different Kind of Truth” world tour. The distressed “Ivory over black” was a last-minute special request which was used to replace his #1 for the 2015 world tour.

Fast Playing Neck Design

This sports a basswood body with arched top, robust graphite-reinforced quartersawn maple neck - carved and rolled to EVH's exacting specifications and a speedy 12-16 inch compound radius ebony fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets for facilitating energetic riffing and blazing leads. A heel-mount truss rod adustment wheel also makes for quick and easy neck relief tweaks, a feature guitar techs everywhere will thank you for.

Wolfgang Humbucking Pickups

The crystal clear custom-designed EVH Wolfgang Humbucking pickups are mounted direclty to the body, supplying girth and sparkle, as well as near-endless sustain to power chords and melody lines.

Stage Ready Performance Controls

Every component of this guitar has been selected and positioned for high-speed playing. The low-friction volume knob lets you perform speedy violin-like volume swells with ease while the tone knob resists easy turning - avoiding unwanted tonal shifts as your picking hand flies furiously across the strings. The rock-solid EVH-branded Floyd Rose locking tremolo bridge combines with the Floyd Rose locking nut to maintain precise tuning, no matter how insane your whammy-bar histrionics get. The EVH D-Tuna retunes to Drop-D and back with strict accuracy at the mere flick of a finger, making this the only guitar you'll need onstage. Other features include a momentary mute switch, EVH Wolfgang AL2 bridge and AL3 humbuckers and quasi-recessed EVH Floyd Rose 1000 series double locking tremolo, with D Tuna.
