The American Professional Precision Bass features a medium C-Shaped Profile Neck sports smooth rolled fingerboard edges, a Super-Natural satin finish and a newly sculpted neck heel for a supremely comfortable feel and easy access to the upper register. The new V-Mod III Precision Bass Split Pickup is more articulate than ever while delivering the punch and growl the P-Bass is known for, while ClassicGear Precision Potentiometers deliver smooth, consistent control with custom torque, precise resistance and a musical taper for effortless, reliable performance.
V-MOD III Pickups
V-Mod III Precision Bass pickups are modified versions of Fender's classic vintage pickup designs. Packed with the fundamental Fender bass sound you know and love, these pickups deliver the vintage warmth, punch and clarity that made Fender a legend.
Modified '63 P-Bass Neck Profile
The American Professional III Precision Bass uses a modified '63 P-Bass neck profile, refined to be thicker at the 1st fret and thinner at the 12th fret for a more ergonomic playing experience. The Super-Natural satin finish on the back of the neck provides a smooth fret-hand feel complemented by rounded fingerboard edges.
Posiflex Graphite Rods
All American Professional bass necks incorporate Posiflex Graphite Rods to reinforce against movement that can occur with fluctuations in the climate. Embedded beneath the fingerboard, they improve reliability on the road, in the studio or in your home.

This precision-manufactured bass bridge increases sustain and note definition thanks to its high-mass construction delivering improved attack and resonance at every fret position.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
