Shred in ergonomic comfort and style with the Jackson X Series Soloist Arch Top SLAT8 MS 8-String Electric Guitar. A high-performance evolution of the electric guitar, this 8-string multi-scale model unlocks the possibilities of an instrument by accommodating two scale lengths on one fingerboard, thus improving overall playing comfort, tension, and intonation. It is available in a Gloss Black color with black hardware.
Construction
The SLAT8 MS features an arched top basswood body with a through-body maple neck with scarf joint and graphite reinforcement for maximum neck stability, 12-16 inch compound radius laurel fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets, single-ply bound neck and Jackson 4x4 AT1 headstock with Jackson die-cast tuners.
Mechanism
Chosen specifically for their complementary sound, a pair of modern EMG 909 humbucking pickups drives this guitar’s versatile sound, combining for a highly balanced, flexible tone, with plenty of high output for pristine cleans and snarling distortion. Single volume and tone control shape the pickups’ output, which can be further refined with the three-way toggle switch for the precise voice required to bring your musical vision to life. To help improve intonation, the guitar has been equipped with Jackson-designed individual bridge saddles, staggered to accommodate the two scale lengths.

It unlocks the possibilities of an instrument by accommodating two scale lengths on one fingerboard, thus improving overall playing comfort while improving tension and intonation.
EMG 909 Pickups
The EMG 909 pickups provide rich vocal character, definition, and responsive sound. Eliminating muddiness, these pickups enhance the articulation of every note, chord, and harmonic.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
