The Focusrite Scarlett Solo Studio 4th Gen USB Audio Interface features an ultra-low-noise mic pre that ensures excellent sound quality from any microphone. It also includes a Hi-Z instrument input, allowing guitars to sound and feel great, especially when used with amp sims. With a huge 120 dB dynamic range, the interface uses the same converters as Focusrite's high-end RedNet interfaces found in top studios worldwide. The Air Mode feature adds the character of a big studio console, providing a high-end presence and rich harmonic drive to vocals and instruments during recording. It includes the CM25 MkIII studio condenser microphone, which delivers excellent sound quality for various sources, especially vocals and acoustic guitars. Additionally, the interface features a custom-designed headphone amp with independent level controls, along with a pair of SH-450 closed-back headphones, ensuring powerful playback with loud, clear, and accurate audio for monitoring purposes. It also offers Loopback functionality, enabling users to create samples from computer audio through Scarlett's virtual inputs. Setting up the Scarlett Solo for recording is a breeze with the included Easy Start tool, getting users to make music in no time. Additionally, it comes bundled with essential software, including Ableton Live Lite, Avid Pro Tools Artist, and the Hitmaker Expansion software bundle, providing a range of studio tools for record-making. Users can control their recording sessions directly from their PC or Mac using Focusrite Control 2 software.
