Few guitar designs are as closely tied to Ibanez as the Iceman, and the ICMS721IPT carries that unmistakable shape into the modern era through the forward thinking Axe Design Lab series. First introduced in 1977 and officially taking the Iceman name in 1978, the shape became known for its sweeping body lines, dramatic profile, and unmistakable stage presence. Over the years, models such as the IC100, IC300, and ICT700 helped establish its legacy, alongside signature inspired variations including the PS10 and Fireman. The Ibanez ICMS721IPT builds on that history with a contemporary extended range approach, giving players the distinctive character of the Iceman in a format suited to modern playing styles. Finished in Iron Pewter, it brings together decades of Ibanez design heritage with the experimental spirit of the Axe Design Lab.
