As an artist, Tim Henson is always trying to update, invigorate and reinvent his band's image. He has taken that same approach with the TOD10N, his signature nylon string electric guitar.

Premium Tonewoods and Innovative Construction

The TOD10N combines carefully selected tonewoods and advanced acoustic design to deliver a responsive nylon-string playing experience. A solid Sitka spruce top provides clarity, articulation, and dynamic response, while the solid okoume back and sides contribute warmth and balance across the frequency range. The modified FRH chambered body with fan bracing enhances resonance and projection while maintaining the comfort and feedback resistance expected from a modern nylon electric guitar. Additional features such as the ebony double-hole bridge, side sound port, and Fishman Acoustic Matrix undersaddle pickup with Fishman Aura preamp help preserve the instrument's natural character and sound.

The TOD's most striking aesthetic feature may be the fingerboard inlay design, which Tim has dubbed as the Tree of Death. The name and the design are both nods to the iconic Ibanez Tree of Life inlay design, but with a twist.
