Designed for performance and recording, the EVH 5150 Iconic Series 15-Watt Tube Amp Head combines power, tone control, and flexible features. Created by amp engineer James Brown and voiced with EL34 and ECC83 tubes, it brings the signature EVH tone into a compact and stage-friendly format.
Dual Channels with Voicing Options
Features two channels with selectable voicing: clean to gain on Green channel and added saturation on Red channel. Separate volume and gain controls let you balance tones between rhythm and lead.
Footswitchable Boost for Solos
Built-in Boost adds 10dB of volume. It’s switchable via included footswitch, making it easy to raise your volume for solos during live shows.
Versatile Tone Controls
3-band shared EQ (Low, Mid, High) with global Presence and Resonance allows full tone shaping. Useful for adapting your sound on stage or in the studio.
Recording-Ready DI Out with Speaker Emulation
XLR output simulates speaker sound and includes power amp mute. Allows direct recording or connection to a PA while keeping tube tone.
¼ Power Mode for Volume Management
Reduces output power for practicing at lower volumes. Keeps the tone intact while lowering sound levels.
FX Loop and Dual Speaker Outs
Includes an effects loop for signal routing and two speaker outputs for flexible cabinet setup.
Durable Build for Gigging

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
