The Roland VAD716 is a professional electronic drum set built to provide a complete acoustic-style experience with modern digital control. Designed for drummers who want realistic response, customizable sound, and easy integration into studio or live setups, this kit delivers on performance and function.
Realistic Drum and Cymbal Construction
The kit includes full-size drum pads with wooden shells, a stainless steel snare, and a wooden kick drum for authentic playing feel. The lighter and thinner cymbal design produces more accurate movement and vibration.
Advanced V71 Drum Module
Equipped with Roland’s flagship V71 module, this set includes over 70 preset kits and more than 1000 built-in sounds. It features Prismatic Sound Modeling, pad compressor, EQ, and overhead mic simulation for a flexible sound setup.
Digital Trigger Integration
Three digital trigger inputs support multi-sensor digital drum pads for more precise tracking and dynamics. This allows for improved expression, detail, and responsiveness in every performance.
Sound Customization and Editing Tools
The module offers tools like pad EQ, pad compressor, and overhead mic simulation. A special desktop app allows users to edit and organize kits from a computer for greater control.
Connectivity and Expansion Options
With eight direct outputs, two headphone jacks, USB-C, MIDI in/out, and Mix In, the VAD716 can connect easily to recording gear or PA systems. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are built in for wireless Roland Cloud access and audio streaming.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
