The Roland VAD716 is part of the V-Drums 7 Series and offers a complete electronic drumming solution designed for hybrid performance, flexible expansion, and wireless connectivity. It combines an acoustic-style look and feel with modern digital capabilities, giving drummers the tools to perform, practice, and record with precision and control. Please note that the kick pedal, Snare Stand, Throne and hi-hat Stand are not included.
Expandable V71 Sound Module
The V71 module includes a multi-sampled sound library developed in collaboration with DW. Drummers can switch between onboard sounds and external sound libraries with the included DW Soundworks software, allowing smooth transitions between live and studio setups.
Roland Cloud Integration
With built-in wireless support and Roland Cloud Connect, users can download new kits and instruments directly from their smartphone. This expands creative options without needing a computer.
Digital Snare and Cymbals
The PD-14DSX digital snare features detailed triggering, a snare throw-off lever, and tension adjustment. Paired with the VH-14D digital hi-hats and CY-18DR ride, it captures subtle playing nuances accurately.
Full-Size Acoustic-Style Shells
The kit includes a 22-inch kick, two rack toms, two floor toms, and wood shells available in multiple finishes. These provide a familiar setup for acoustic drummers while maintaining digital control.
Multiple Outputs and Connectivity
The V71 module includes balanced main and direct outputs, USB audio/MIDI, and Bluetooth. This makes it easy to connect to PA systems, audio interfaces, or mobile devices for practice, streaming, and recording.
Editing and Customization Tools
Drummers can fine-tune their kit using the large color display, built-in editing tools, and companion V71 Editor software. Sample import and studio-grade processing effects offer further sound customization.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
