The Samson MixPad MXP144FX is a compact 14-input analog stereo mixer built for live sound, rehearsals, recording, education, content production, and fixed installations. Six Class A MDR microphone pre-amps provide the front end for microphones, while four stereo channels expand connectivity for keyboards, playback devices, and other line level sources. Precision 60 mm faders give each channel direct level control without relying on menu driven operation.
Built In Dynamics and Effects
Four channels include single knob compressors for controlling sources with wider dynamic range without adding external processing. The internal 24-bit effects processor provides 100 presets, including delays, reverbs, chorus, flanging, and combination effects, giving performers and engineers practical processing directly from the mixer.
USB Recording and Playback
A bidirectional stereo USB interface connects the MXP144FX with a computer for recording and playback. The outgoing USB signal follows the Main Mix, while computer playback can be assigned to the Main Mix or routed to the Mix 2 and headphone bus. This makes the mixer useful for capturing rehearsals, integrating computer playback, podcast production, and other hybrid analog and digital workflows.
Flexible Monitoring and Output Routing
Each channel provides a pre-fader auxiliary send for monitor mixes and a post fader send for effects routing. Main Mix connections are available on XLR and 1/4-inch outputs, while Mix 2, headphone monitoring, and RCA tape output provide additional routing options. Selectable 48V phantom power supports condenser microphones, and an 8 segment LED meter provides quick visual level monitoring.
