Schecter Nick Johnston Traditional HSS 10th Anniversary (Atomic Violet)
Celebrate a decade of sonic excellence with the Nick Johnston Traditional HSS 10th Anniversary model in striking Atomic Violet. Designed in collaboration with virtuoso guitarist Nick Johnston, this premium instrument delivers a seamless blend of vintage aesthetics, modern precision, and signature tone.
Crafted with an alder body and a sleek Traditional top contour, this model features a premium wenge neck paired with a smooth ebony fingerboard, adorned with elegant metal ring inlays. The Nick Johnston C profile neck, with a comfortable taper from 20.32mm at the 1st fret to 21.59mm at the 12th, ensures effortless playability across the 25.5-inch scale.
Equipped with 22 jumbo stainless-steel frets and a 14-inch fingerboard radius, this guitar is built for speed and precision. The powerhouse comes loaded with Schecter USA NJ Sub Atomic pickups in an HSS configuration—featuring a chrome-covered bridge humbucker and two articulate single coils. A 5-way switch, master volume, and master tone (with a push-pull coil-split for the bridge pickup) unlock a wide tonal spectrum.
Pickups: Schecter USA NJ Sub Atomic HSS Configuration
This guitar is equipped with a high-performance HSS pickup setup designed specifically for Nick Johnston. The bridge features a chrome-covered Sub Atomic humbucker for powerful, modern tones with rich mids and tight low end. The middle and neck positions house single-coil Sub Atomic pickups, delivering crystal-clear highs and vintage-style clarity. The combination offers exceptional versatility, making this guitar perfect for blues, rock, fusion, and beyond.
Neck: Wenge with Nick Johnston C Profile
The neck is crafted from wenge, a dense, stable hardwood known for its durability and smooth texture. Its natural oiled finish enhances playability, while the custom Nick Johnston C shape provides a comfortable grip for both lead and rhythm styles. The neck profile tapers from 20.32mm at the 1st fret to 21.59mm at the 12th, providing a familiar feel with just the right amount of heft.
Fingerboard: Ebony with 14-Inch Radius and Metal Ring Inlays
Topped with an ebony fingerboard, this guitar offers a slick, fast-playing surface with a bright, articulate tonal response. The 14-Inch radius allows for low action and effortless bends—ideal for technical players. The unique metal ring inlays add a modern, refined aesthetic that sets this model apart from traditional designs.
Electronics: 5-Way Switch with Push-Pull Coil Split
The intuitive control layout features a 5-way pickup selector, a master volume, and a master tone knob with a push-pull function. The push-pull coil split transforms the bridge humbucker into a single-coil, providing an additional layer of tonal flexibility. This system allows players to switch seamlessly between glassy cleans, punchy rhythms, and searing leads.
Tremolo and Tuning Hardware: Schecter Nouveau System with Locking Tuners
The Schecter Nouveau tremolo system delivers smooth pitch modulation without compromising tuning stability. Paired with Schecter Nouveau locking tuners, string changes are fast and tuning is rock solid—even with aggressive tremolo use. This setup ensures professional-grade performance whether you're recording, rehearsing, or performing live.
