Developed in collaboration with jazz legend Peter Erskine, this 10in x 4.5in signature snare drum brings his distinctive musical vision into a compact, highly responsive instrument. Based on the same innovative shell concept as his acclaimed 14in x 4.5in Jazz model, the Jazz 10 delivers exceptional articulation, expressive dynamics, and a versatile voice suited for jazz, fusion, studio work, and beyond.
Hybrid Spruce and Maple Shell
The 6mm shell combines four plies of spruce with two inner plies of maple to create a balanced tonal character with rich midrange warmth and articulate highs. Peter Erskine's exclusive Sound Focus Ring, installed only on the batter side, enhances attack while maintaining an open, well-defined tone. The compact 10-inch diameter further improves note clarity and response without sacrificing depth or musicality.
Open Resonance and Flexible Positioning
Equipped with TAMA's Star-Cast Mounting System, the shell is allowed to resonate freely for maximum tonal performance. The mounting design also provides flexible positioning, making the Jazz 10 easy to integrate into a variety of drum kit configurations where space and accessibility are important.
Professional Performance Hardware
Built with premium Starclassic hardware, the drum features durable MSL-SCP lugs, 6-hole die-cast hoops, and the reliable MLS50A strainer with MLS30B butt plate for smooth operation. Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
