The Yamaha CG102 6-String Right-Handed Classical Guitar in Gloss was created using the experience and technology gained from decades of handcrafting fine, classical guitars. A wide variety of models makes it easy to find a guitar that fits your sound and design requirements. The CG Series also offers improved volume, tone quality and response, superior playability with its easy-to-hold neck design, comfortable string height and an elegant, simple design.
Exquisite Tone and Superb Playability
CG classical guitars boast high-quality construction, rich tone, and easy playability. Each model is built to Yamaha’s skilled builders' precise specifications. CG Series models feature various body styles, tonewoods and finishes (gloss or matte), and some models include pickup and preamp systems. This makes it easy to find the model that meets your sound and design preferences giving you the freedom to express your own unique identity. CG Series guitars feature a bracing pattern that delivers excellent response and rich resonance. The bridge plate efficiently transfers string vibration to the guitar top.
Top and Neck
This model is available with a spruce top. It provides a clear, massive tone that improves as the wood matures with great variation according to touch. The three-ply laminate neck design improves neck strength while remaining resistant against warping and twisting. This allows for lower string action and offers greater stability against shape changes over time. The matte finish on the back of the neck is applied with a thick coat, allowing the left hand to move smoothly while also providing a secure grip. The finish is also applied to the bridge for improved resonance.
Saddle Fit
Years of experience and original technologies have brought improvements to Yamaha’s saddle and saddle slot design. Crafting these components with great precision provides a highly accurate fit that improves attack and sustain while reducing string vibration loss transferring rich resonance to the body.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately.
