The Yamaha DZR12 in Black is 2-way bi-amped powered loudspeaker that offers superb clarity at an impressive 139dB SPL. With best-in-class SPL performance, sophisticated DSP processing, and unrivaled low-frequency sound reproduction, the DZR12 realizes a truly professional sound delivered with a level of power that belies its compact, lightweight design. The Yamaha DZR12 is equipped with a 2-inch HF driver and a 12-inch LF driver, delivering a maximum SPL of 139dB and a frequency range of 39Hz to 20kHz, making it ideal for modern sound engineering demands. It features a high-power 2000W Class-D amplifier module and a 96kHz DSP with FIR filter technology for true high-resolution sound with minimal latency. Advanced FIR-X tuning combines FIR filtering with precise EQ to minimize phase distortion. Users can access various DSP functions, load presets, and make precise adjustments to PEQ, delay, and routing via the intuitive LCD display. The DZR12 also includes D-Contour and highly reliable protection circuits, a floor monitoring setting for mirroring configurations, and a lightweight yet durable plywood cabinet with a premium-grade Polyurea coating. For flexible setup and speaker placement, it offers a rotatable horn and a variety of U-bracket options (UB-DZR) and comes with an optional speaker cover (SPCVR-DZR12).
Advanced FIR-X Tuning
96kHz DSP processors help focus the considerable power output of the DZR into truly high-resolution sound with super-low latency. Yamaha’s newly developed Advanced FIR-X tuning improves significantly on our proprietary FIR-X tuning technology which utilizes linear phase FIR filters for the crossover network and correct EQ. Using FIR filters, you can realize very smooth frequency response for stunning clarity and sound imaging without phase distortion. Accurate EQ filtering is also provided for pinpoint adjustment to realize ideal clarity and best-in-class SPL without signal degradation.
LCD Screen
An onboard LCD screen allows users to easily navigate the variety of DSP functions, load presets, and make precise adjustments to PEQ, delay, and routing. Store up to 8 user presets to save your own parameter adjustments, or use the optimized dedicated factory presets for using DZR and DXS XLF Series in combination. Users can easily transfer saved settings to a USB flash drive.
Smart Design
It features a rotatable horn to allow vertical or horizontal mounting to further adapt to the acoustic dimensions of a venue. The coverage angle of the DZR12 has a 90x60-degree dispersion from a vertical position. The constant directivity horns were designed with the goal of providing smooth, level coverage across the intended coverage area, minimizing roll-off that is common in conventional horn designs.
High-Quality Construction
The cabinet is constructed from a high-grade 15mm thick plywood and then painted with an extremely durable, military-grade Polyurea coating. The enclosures of the full-range speakers also feature butterfly joints for added strength and cabinet vibration reduction, as well as a wide, flare-shaped port that helps to minimize port noise even at very high output levels.

How do I return an item?

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

Will I receive a full refund when I return an item?

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

How many days do I have to make a return?

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days. 

My item was damaged in transit. How do I place a return?

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery. If there is carrier damage, please contact support@focuscamera.com with your order number and a description of the damage.

Can I exchange an item?

We do not currently offer exchanges. Please return the item you purchased within 30 days and order what you’d like instead.

If I ordered a kit, do I have to return all the items?

If you ordered a kit, you must return all components and accessories to receive a full refund.

I ordered a product that included a free item. I’d like to return it, do I need to return the free item as well?

If you ordered a product that included a free item, you must include the free item with your return. If not, your return will not be accepted and you will not receive a full refund.

Do you offer repairs?

We currently only offer camera repairs at our Brooklyn store. The item must be dropped off and collected in person as we do not accept shipped items for repair. For more information, please call our Brooklyn store on 1.718.431.7900.
