The EAD50 electronic acoustic drum microphone system simplifies full-kit capture by combining stereo miking, triggering, and mixing in a single unit. It delivers professional drum sound without the need for complex multi-mic setups, making it ideal for live performance, recording, and streaming.
DSU50 Stereo Condenser Microphone
The DSU50 uses a matched pair of condenser capsules in an XY stereo configuration to capture a wide, natural drum image. Designed specifically for acoustic drums, it delivers balanced sound from kick to cymbals while reducing vibration and mechanical noise.
Upgraded SWX100 Sound Engine
An enhanced sound engine provides detailed processing, dynamic response,e and access to thousands of sounds and effects. It ensures clean audio performance across practice, studio and stage environments.
Integrated Kick Trigger Output
A dedicated kick trigger converts bass drum hits into trigger signals, allowing electronic or sampled sounds to be layered accurately with acoustic playing for hybrid drum setups.
Expanded Inputs and Outputs
Five XLR microphone inputs support additional close mics, while five splittable trigger inputs allow connection of up to ten triggers. Multiple balanced 1/4-inch and XLR outputs provide flexible routing for front-of-house, monitors, and multitrack recording.
Mixer-Style Controls
LED rotary faders and Kit Modifier knobs provide hands-on control over levels, effects and reverb without menu diving, allowing quick adjustments during performance.
Live Performance and Creative Tools
Built-in Live Set functionality enables instant recall of kits, tempos, and audio files. Looper, sampler, and playback features expand creative options for live and studio use.
Connectivity and App Support
Bluetooth connectivity, USB audio interface capability, and SD card support streamline recording, editing, and sharing. Compatible mobile apps allow easy control, content creation, and sound management from a smart device.
