Transacoustic Game Changer
"I'm not sure if most people come to guitar with an acoustic first or an electric, but eventually a player wants at least one of each. I tried to learn with an acoustic first many years ago and failed, in part, due to not realizing acoustics were harder to play due to higher string tension. The reason for mentioning the above is along the journey I have learned the hard way paying for quality makes a difference. It doesn't have to be THE best, but buying well known brands has continually proven to the better choice. A friend gave me an old beat up entry level $100 Yamaha acoustic in exchange for a repair on his house. It played well, but I wanted something better. I bought an off-brand with some nice little bells and whistles like beveled edges, etc. Eventually I realized while it was a little more comfortable to play it didn't play as well as the beat up Yamaha. Enter Focus Pro Audio and this Transacoustic Ruby Red Yamaha. First, the pictures absolutely don't do justice to it. It's gorgeous and has a depth to the finish that's lustrous. More importantly it stays in tune, plays like a dream, and sounds great with or without the internal electronic enhancers. The Transacoustic sound definitely adds to it unplugged, but we also played it through a Fender Blues Deluxe and it sounded incredible amplified. As with my other purchases from Focus Pro Audio, the shipping was lighting fast. It arrived double boxed and in a little over two days. If you're wanting to either add an acoustic or upgrade the one you have without breaking the bank I couldn't recommend this Yamaha more. I can't put it down and immediately bought a hard case to keep this baby safe. Thanks again Focus Pro Audio. Another A++++ transaction."
