The Yamaha SBP0F4HCLW Stage Custom Hip Acoustic Drum Set in Classic White provides a big sound in a compact configuration. Its small footprint makes it ideal for small spaces and easy to transport. The Stage Custom series sets the standard for value and sound as a kit that's unrivaled in its price range. The 6-ply 100 percent birch shells provide a nice, full low-end, strong midrange and controlled high-end. These drums feature Absolute lugs, triple-flanged steel hoops, and Yamaha's YESS tom mount system. The shell is a key factor in a drum's ability to ‘rumble’ or resonate. It has a shallow 20 x 8-inch bass drum for a big, full sound. Snare strainer on floor tom provides more playing options.
Construction
Accordingly, the Stage Custom, a classic in the realm of high-class drum kits, employs 100 percent birch, which is a wood known for its ability to reduce unwanted noise. Moreover, with its six-ply structure, the Stage Custom accurately conveys the vibrations produced at the impact surface, achieving performance that transcends anything in its class. The secret of the YESS tom mount system is twofold: first, it ensures minimum contact between the hardware and shell, and second, it connects that hardware to the nodal point of the drum - the point at which it will not interfere with shell vibration, so resonance dampening is minimal. Reducing contact with shells increases the drum’s natural resonance while maximizing the dynamic range and sustain. Nylon bushings on rod clamps provide maximum stability. YESS offers wide open sustain while keeping toms stable under the heaviest strokes, allowing drummers to play with confidence and not worry about drums slipping. A tribute to Yamaha design technology, the original ball mount and clamp have not changed much over the years. A large, ultra-hard resin ball sits in an attractive chromed housing, held in place with a titanium ergonomic wing bolt. It is the ultimate drummer-friendly mount offering non-slip positioning and tuning of the bottom head by simply rotating the drum.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
