The Yamaha Stage Custom Birch 5-Piece Drum Shell Set combines a full size 22-inch bass drum configuration with 100 percent birch shells for drummers who want a clear attack, controlled decay, and strong separation across the kit. This kit includes two rack toms, a floor tom, snare drum, bass drum, and a Yamaha TH945C tom holder.
Consistent Birch Shell Construction
Stage Custom Birch uses 6 ply birch shells across the set. Yamaha describes the birch construction as producing quick attack, short decay, and tight separation, characteristics that help each drum remain defined in live, rehearsal, and recording environments.
Y.E.S.S. Tom Mounting
The Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System minimizes mounting hardware contact with the tom shell so the drum can vibrate more freely. Yamaha pairs the system with its ball mount and clamp design, allowing the two rack toms to be positioned across a broad range of angles while maintaining stable support.
Reliable Performance
The kit uses 1.5 mm steel triple flange hoops on the toms and floor tom, wood bass drum hoops, and a hand lacquered finish. Absolute Lugs use an internal locking mechanism that helps resist tension bolt movement during playing, while die cast bass drum claw hooks with rubber inserts help reduce hardware noise.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
