The Yamaha Arius YDP-166WB Digital Home Piano brings expressive piano practice into the home with an upright style cabinet in White Birch and an included bench. It is built for beginners, intermediate players, and returning musicians who want the feel of a traditional piano without the tuning demands of an acoustic instrument.
Acoustic Inspired Touch
The 88 key GrandTouch E keyboard uses synthetic ebony and ivory key tops with escapement, giving players a responsive surface for dynamic control. Four touch sensitivity settings let the piano respond to different playing styles, while the three pedal system includes damper, sostenuto, and soft pedals for more nuanced expression during lessons, practice, and performance.
Yamaha CFX Piano Sound
The YDP-166 features a Yamaha CFX concert grand piano voice with VRM Lite, which recreates string resonance behavior for a deeper piano sound. With 192 note polyphony, 10 preset voices, four reverb types, Intelligent Acoustic Control, and Stereophonic Optimizer, it supports expressive playing through both the built in speaker system and headphones.
Practice Friendly Home Features
Dual headphone jacks make private practice easier in shared spaces, while Bluetooth audio and MIDI support let players connect with compatible devices for music playback and app based learning. USB to Host, built in metronome, MIDI recording, 10 voice demo songs, 50 classics, and 303 lesson songs give students and home players useful tools for daily progress.
The White Birch cabinet, sliding key cover, music rest with braces, 20 W x 2 amplifiers, and dual 12 cm speakers with diffuser make the YDP-166 a strong choice for living rooms, apartments, studios, and dedicated practice spaces.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
