This handheld voice recorder enables four tracks of simultaneous recording and interchangeable input capsules allowing you to choose the best microphone for every recording scenario. Built-in X/Y stereo recording lets you to cover a wide area making the flexible and powerful H5 Handy exactly the device you need to create multitrack recordings. Perfect for recording audio for video as well as podcasting, broadcasting and electronic news gathering, the Zoom H5 Handy Recorder has everything you need for all of your sound capturing needs.
XYH-5 X/Y Microphone Capsule
Equipped with an XYH-5 X/Y Capsule, the Zoom H5 Handy Recorder is able to capture great sound at live music concerts, conducting interviews, videography and broadcasts and podcasts. This specially engineered capsule is able to handle extremely loud sounds with two matched unidirectional condenser microphones set at a 90-degree angle.
Capture Clean Sound
An advanced shockmount employs rugged external mic wires and rubberized material to isolate the microphone capsule unit from the H5 body. This design essentially minimizes vibration and handling noise while handling up to 140 dB--equivalent to the sound of a jet aircraft from less than 200 feet away. With the H5 Handy Recorder, you'll be able to capture sounds louder, closer, and cleaner than you ever could before!

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
