The TAMA 7850N4L Octoban 4 Piece Low Pitch Drum Set adds four distinct pitched voices to an acoustic drum or percussion setup. TAMA keeps every Octoban shell at a 6-inch diameter and changes pitch through shell length instead of using different drum diameters. The result is a coordinated low-pitch set for drummers who want melodic accents, layered fills, and additional tonal movement around the kit.
Four Graduated Low Pitch Shells
The set combines OCT443N, OCT472N, OCT536N, and OCT600N Octobans. Their shell depths measure 443 mm, 472 mm, 536 mm, and 600 mm, corresponding to 17 1/2, 18 1/2, 21, and 23 1/2 inches. These changing lengths create the different pitches across the set while preserving the same 6-inch shell diameter. The Octoban shells can also be tuned melodically, giving players control over how the four voices relate to one another.
Purpose-Built Four Drum Support
The 7850N4L configuration comes with the TAMA HOW49WN stand, which is made for four Octobans. Keeping the complete low pitch group on one dedicated stand helps place the drums together as a focused percussion section within a larger setup. The graduated shell lengths remain easy to identify at a glance, helping players move naturally across the four drums during fills and melodic passages.
For drummers expanding beyond standard tom voices, the 7850N4L brings the distinctive TAMA Octoban concept into one complete low-pitch configuration. Four shell depths, melodic tuning capability, and a dedicated four-drum stand give the set a clear role for studio, rehearsal, and stage percussion arrangements.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
